We are currently seeking a talented individual to become an HR Coordinator. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience in a professional office environment, preferably utilizing clerical skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Proficient in vocabulary, spelling, punctuation and proofreading. Must be able to compose and prepare correspondence appropriate for the Human Resources Department.
  • Ability to operate office equipment including a photocopier, fax machine and calculator.
  • Excellent telephone manners and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfort with flexibility in priorities and work assignments a must.
  • Must approach team member questions and concerns in a caring, confidential and helpful manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
  • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • All applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Human Resources Team Members in their functional area
  • Responsible for greeting applicants and employees in a positive, upbeat manner while answering questions and assisting with application process
  • Responsible for answering phone calls and routing them to the correct location.
  • Monitors the day to day appointments for the Human Resources Team Members.
  • Assist with Team Member wardrobe needs.
  • Assists with the completion of the following paperwork processes: new hires, gaming licenses, drug tests and property to property transfers
  • Researches rehire data and forwards to Recruiters for approval
  • Assists leaders on recruitment/paperwork procedures and processes
  • Assist in orderly filing of applications, creating new Team Member files and place Team Member documents in their file.
  • Oversees the organization, cleanliness, maintenance of the Human Resources facility.
  • Act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to the Company and encourage others to do the same
  • Adhere to all departments/company policies and procedures
  • Maintains complete confidentiality of all company information at all times.
  • Perform necessary follow-ups to meet established objectives and assist with reminders of commitments and deadlines.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
