Join us and play an important part on our incredible team! As a seasonal Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide a wide variety of support to the Human Resources department. This position involves a significant amount of direct contact with leaders, employees, and new hires. The individual will be responsible for providing the human touch that brings our employment processes and systems to life.

Requirements

Comfortability primarily working indoors.
Human Resources experience.
Ability to sit/stand for several hours at a time.
Ability to respond to change and/or interruptions, responding to highly stressful situations requiring immediate action, independent judgment, and superior problem-solving abilities.
Comfortability with exposure to computer screens.
Ability to use hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
Knowledge of human resources functions, including tasks within the employment cycle.
General understanding of employment laws.
Experience working in a fast paced Human Resources department
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook, etc.).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong computer and phone skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree preferred or relevant years of experience.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
Minimum of 2+ years of human resources experience preferred.
Experience working in the theme park or hospitality industry preferred.
Working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday, etc.)
Experience working in a fast paced, high-growth company.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate HR personnel or department.
Manage and schedule appointments for HR staff.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HR policies.
Liaison with the recruiting team for on boarding and other duties.
Utilize the HR systems/records interface to on-board new hires.
Assist internal and external guests by answering questions and directing them to appropriate HR personnel.
Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies and legal guidelines.
Handle frequent data entry, filing, reports, and other administrative tasks.
Manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering, as necessary.
Monitor office security by ensuring visitor check-in procedures are followed.
Assist with personnel records management.
Completes all data entry needs for various systems
Maintain area cleanliness.
Answer questions and address any errors
Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and presentable at all times.
Assists leadership staff with various HR related projects.
Represent the company in a legal and professional manner.
Support HR-related projects and initiatives, including benefits administration and employee engagement activities.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Assist locations throughout the park as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
