About The Position

Toledo Tool & Die is seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis for a 90-120 day placement. This role supports the company's rapid growth at their Bennett Road facility, focusing on high-volume recruiting, seamless onboarding, and day-to-day HR administration. The HR Coordinator will partner with the onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts and will report to the HR Manager. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys contributing during periods of expansion.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of HR experience, with an emphasis on recruiting and onboarding
  • Experience supporting high-volume or rapid-growth hiring is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and relevant employment regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and standard office software
  • Ability to commit to the full 90–120 day assignment and work on-site at the Bennett Road facility

Responsibilities

  • Support the onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist in all recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates, screening applicants, coordinating and conducting interviews, and extending offers to support rapid hiring needs
  • Lead onboarding for new hires, including new-hire paperwork, orientation, system setup, and ensuring a smooth first-day and first-week experience
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including maintaining accurate employee records, processing documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws
  • Partner with hiring managers and facility leadership to understand staffing needs and prioritize open roles
  • Track recruiting and onboarding metrics and maintain organized candidate and employee files
  • Respond to employee questions and direct them to appropriate resources as needed
  • Support additional HR projects and tasks as they arise during the expansion
