About The Position

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department by coordinating day-to-day HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle. This position assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, HR reporting, and offboarding while maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. The HR Coordinator serves as a key resource for employees and managers, helping to create an efficient, compliant, and positive workplace experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files, HR databases, and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and assisting with employment offers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities, onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation to ensure a smooth employee transition.
  • Assist with employee relations by responding to routine employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, workplace procedures, and Human Resources programs while escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, leave administration, and compliance documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with performance management activities by coordinating performance review schedules, maintaining documentation, and supporting employee development initiatives.
  • Support Human Resources compliance by maintaining required records, assisting with audits, monitoring adherence to company policies, and ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Prepare and maintain Human Resources reports and metrics including turnover, recruiting activity, employee demographics, and other workforce data to support organizational decision-making.
  • Coordinate employee offboarding activities, including processing resignations, conducting exit interviews, collecting company property, and maintaining separation documentation.
  • Support Human Resources leadership with special projects, policy implementation, process improvements, and other initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Maintain regular on-site attendance by commuting to and performing work at the designated work location during established business hours, assigned shifts, or project-based schedules as required to support business operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
