Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • Internship or campus work experience a plus — we’ll train you!
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or other HR systems is a bonus
  • Curious, eager to learn, and able to handle confidential information responsibly

Responsibilities

  • Support New Hires & Onboarding
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to prepare for new hires
  • Schedule and run new hire orientations — be the friendly face that welcomes them!
  • Make sure employee records are accurate in Workday
  • Coordinate first-day logistics (laptops, badges, desk setup)
  • Communicate with new hires so they know what to expect
  • Help with Offboarding
  • Prepare paperwork for employees leaving the company
  • Update employee status in Workday
  • Assist with unemployment forms and inquiries
  • Learn HR Programs (FMLA, Disability, Fit for Duty, etc.)
  • Help review employee leave requests and gather documentation
  • Learn how to maintain accurate leave records
  • Assist in coordinating communication between employees, managers, and HR
  • Support the return-to-work process — helping employees transition back smoothly
  • Keep sensitive employee information secure and confidential
  • Be the Go-To HR Resource
  • Answer routine employee questions about HR policies
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
