About The Position

The WBG Pioneers program offers undergraduate and postgraduate students a high-impact learning experience at the World Bank Group, focusing on global development. Participants gain hands-on experience in a diverse environment, contribute fresh perspectives, and connect with international professionals. The Human Resources Talent Acquisition and Global Mobility (HRDTM) Department is responsible for attracting, selecting, and enabling talent mobility. To enhance knowledge sharing, collaboration, and access to talent management resources, HRDTM is initiating projects in learning, knowledge management, and digital content delivery. These projects involve transforming technical HR content into user-friendly learning resources, knowledge repositories, and digital experiences for hiring managers, employees, and HR professionals. HRDTM is seeking a graduate-level intern to support the design, organization, and delivery of learning and knowledge resources across multiple strategic projects.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in, or in the final year of, a master’s program in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, User Experience Design, Information/Knowledge Management or similar.
  • Responsibly leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance productivity and learning.
  • Experience working with design tools such as Canva.
  • 0–6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in development work and the World Bank Group’s mission.
  • Strong collaboration, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, team-based environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with web-based eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise/Storylines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and development of a self-paced learning program for interview panel members, including gathering and structuring learning objectives, course outlines, and content; creating storyboards, scripts, exercises, activities, and assessments; drafting learner guides, job aids, and supporting materials; and coordinating with Learning and Development teams for platform development.
  • Support the review, standardization, and digital design of the department’s documentation and resources for various stakeholders, including coordinating documentation review activities, supporting content updating and standardization, developing recommendations for content governance and maintenance, and supporting the design and development of department site pages.
  • Support for other department initiatives may be required.
