About The Position

Make an Impact By owning critical HR compliance programs and ensuring the organization remains compliant with employment regulations, pre-hire requirements, immigration processes, and onboarding governance. This role serves as a key partner in maintaining compliance, reducing risk, and supporting the continued development of the HR Compliance function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-7+ years of experience in HR Compliance, HR Operations, Human Resources, People Operations, or a related function.
  • Strong knowledge of employment compliance requirements, including I-9s, E-Verify, background screening, and onboarding processes.
  • Experience administering immigration and sponsorship programs preferred.
  • Experience managing HR compliance programs, audits, policy administration, and process governance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive process improvements.
  • Experience partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders to support compliance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and oversee immigration and sponsorship processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage pre-employment compliance programs, including background checks, drug screens, I-9 completion, and employment eligibility verification.
  • Oversee I-9 reverifications and ensure ongoing compliance with federal employment requirements.
  • Manage executive background check (FRM) processes and related documentation.
  • Support third-party onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Monitor HR compliance programs and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce organizational risk.
  • Maintain compliance records, documentation, and audit readiness across multiple HR functions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely execution of compliance-related activities.
  • Monitor changes in employment regulations and compliance requirements, implementing process updates as needed.
  • Provide oversight and guidance for compliance-related activities supported by other team members.
  • Assist in building, formalizing, and enhancing the organization's HR Compliance function and governance structure.
  • Analyze compliance processes, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risk.
