About The Position

The HR Business Partner opportunity provides strategic and tactical HR leadership for the Beachwood, OH location as well as for the US-based Corporate HR function. Reporting directly a Global Functions VPHR, this individual plays a critical role in providing an excellent experience for our Eaton Center-based employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum 7 years of human resources experience.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Labor / Industrial Relations or MBA
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or with digital industries
  • Experience working in a matrix environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive organizational change and deploy Human Resources policies, practices, and programs to ensure we are working to potential. This includes building organizational capability and fostering employee engagement through an inclusive culture focused on safety, customer focus and continuous improvement / learning for all employees.
  • Lead and coach others to utilize effective change management tools.
  • Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including acquisition, assessment, performance management and employee development, while fostering a culture of manager ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle.
  • Facilitate a culture where best practices are shared across HR and the business; identify opportunities for learning across Eaton and local market practices.
  • Facilitate talent reviews to assess pipeline strength, determine development focus areas or gaps in the organization and implement necessary actions.
