About The Position

Adherium is an international respiratory eHealth company focused on improving patient outcomes through connected healthcare technology. Their Hailie® Smartinhaler® platform helps patients, providers, and payers better manage asthma and COPD through adherence monitoring, remote patient support, and actionable data insights. They are experiencing rapid growth across the U.S. market and is building a high-performing, mission-driven team to support the next phase of scale. This is a unique opportunity to become the first dedicated U.S.-based People & Culture employee at Adherium and help build the foundation of the company’s long-term talent function. Adherium has grown rapidly over the past year and expects continued expansion across the U.S. business. The immediate priority for this role is leading and improving U.S.-based recruiting efforts, building strong hiring manager partnerships, creating scalable onboarding processes, and improving the overall candidate and employee experience. Over time, this role has the opportunity to grow into broader HR business partnering and People Operations responsibilities as the organization continues to scale. This role is ideal for someone who loves recruiting, thrives in fast-moving startup environments, enjoys building processes from scratch, and wants the opportunity to expand beyond talent acquisition into broader People & Culture initiatives over time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, recruiting coordination, or HR/talent partnership roles.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and credibility with hiring managers and cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience sourcing candidates directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and outbound recruiting methods.
  • Comfort operating in startup or highly ambiguous environments where processes are still being built.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across recruiting coordination, onboarding, documentation, and employee records.
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities and shifting business needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting onboarding, employee experience, or broader HR operations is preferred.
  • Exposure to U.S. employment practices, multi-state hiring, onboarding compliance, or employee relations is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in healthcare, med device, digital health, SaaS, or high-growth technology companies is preferred.
  • Comfort working across multiple U.S. time zones and periodically collaborating with Australia and New Zealand-based teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for U.S.-based roles across commercial, clinical, customer support, product, and technical teams.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, and improve recruiting processes.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, direct sourcing, and external recruiting partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S.-based recruitment coordination and candidate experience.
  • Own and improve onboarding processes for new hires, including helping create a more consistent and scalable first 90-day employee experience.
  • Conduct initial phone screens, coordinate interview processes, manage candidate communication, and oversee offer and onboarding logistics.
  • Help create a high-touch, relationship-driven candidate experience that reflects Adherium’s culture and mission.
  • Support hiring managers with interview coordination, recruiting best practices, and structured hiring processes.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to improve recruiting operations, onboarding workflows, documentation, and process consistency.
  • Support employee lifecycle administration including onboarding documentation, employment records, background checks, I-9 compliance, and employee updates.
  • Assist with implementing and improving HR systems, workflows, and operational processes as the company scales.
  • Collaborate with leaders across multiple time zones and functions in a fully remote global environment.
  • Help support broader People & Culture initiatives over time, including employee engagement, training, and organizational development projects as the company grows.
