About The Position

The HR Benefits Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding U.S. / Global benefits & leave programs. This role administers benefits & leave plans, ensures compliance with applicable regulations, partners with vendors and brokers and supports efficient HR operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or high school degree and 4 years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Short-Term Disability, state leave programs, and other applicable leave regulations.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 to 5 years of Human Resources, Leave of Absence, Health & Welfare Administration, or Employee Relations experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Workday or similar HR system.
  • Experience supporting U.S. and Global benefit programs and working with third-party administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits and leave programs, providing guidance and resolving inquiries.
  • Administer U.S. and Global Health & Welfare and leave programs including, STD, FMLA, State Paid leaves, disability, accommodations, and return to work programs
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and global laws, regulations and company policies and plan requirements.
  • Partner with third-party leave administrators, vendors, brokers, Payroll, HR business partners, and managers to administer programs, resolve issues and deliver a consistent employee experience
  • Participate in vendor meetings, manage escalated cases, audit claims and reporting, and recommend process improvements
  • Support annual Open Enrollment, employee communications, wellness initiatives, and benefits related transactions
  • Generate reports and HR metrics, monitor program performance, and maintain accurate records to support compliance and operational planning.
  • Process benefits related reimbursements and repayments while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
  • Manage the HR shared mailbox, employee inquiries, HR communications, including mailings
  • Maintain required federal and state labor law postings and provide onsite HR support to employees
  • Prepare HR reports, metrics and process reimbursement and repayment transactions
  • Order and maintain office supplies and employee recognition items.
  • Coordinate office food deliveries and employee engagement activities and support workplace safety initiatives, including Safety Committee participation.
