HR Automation & Intelligence Lead

About The Position

Athene is seeking a HR Automation & Intelligence Lead to drive execution of HR technology-enabled transformation. This role will lead the integration, optimization, and execution of automation and AI opportunities across HR while strengthening the analytics and reporting foundation. Platforms include Workday, Tableau, Alteryx, and other AI-enabled tools. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role that blends HR systems expertise, analytics fluency, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in HR technology, workforce analytics, or enterprise HRIS environments
  • Demonstrated success leading automation or systems integration projects
  • Experience with Workday reporting, configuration, and HR data models
  • Proficiency in analytics and data preparation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or similar platforms
  • Working knowledge of AI capabilities relevant to HR operations, such as generative AI tools, workflow automation, or predictive workforce analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into operational improvements
  • Experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and enterprise data teams

Responsibilities

  • AI and Workflow Optimization Identify and redesign HR workflows where AI and automation can materially reduce manual work or improve decision quality. Sequence automation initiatives against roadmap priorities. Reduce manual reporting and transactional lift across HR. Pilot and scale AI-enabled HR workflows within governance standards.
  • Enterprise Orchestration Coordinate cross-system execution across Workday and downstream enterprise platforms to enable automation, analytics and AI use cases. Serve as HR’s primary partner on technology and AI initiatives. Strengthen interoperability and workflow consistency across systems. Ensure initiatives are aligned to enterprise priorities and dependencies.
  • Analytics & Workforce Intelligence Implement unified HR dashboard architecture. Standardize reporting across HR functions. Shift HR analytics from descriptive reporting to predictive workforce insights.
  • Leadership & Delivery Translate the HR roadmap into sequenced initiatives and milestones. Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability. Quantify and report measurable impact tied to automation, analytics, and integration initiatives to leadership. Lead adoption of new analytics and AI-enabled workflows across HR teams through training and change management.
