As an HR Associate, you will serve as the primary Human Resources presence for the Phoenix office, supporting both day-to-day employee needs and broader strategic people initiatives. This position combines hands-on execution with cross-functional partnership and requires effective collaboration across all levels of the organization. You will play a key role in driving HR priorities across Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement while helping foster a positive and high-performing office environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on recruiting, hiring, employee relations, performance management, and HR systems.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with company leadership.
  • High level of confidentiality and ethical practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Foreign Language skills (e.g., Japanese, Cantonese, Mandarin) are a plus but not required.
  • Experience working on a small global HR team is desirable but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the Ex-Japan Talent Acquisition Manager by sourcing and screening full-time candidates.
  • Manage the interview process for assigned roles and candidates.
  • Build relationships with Hiring Managers, keeping them informed and coordinating their involvement throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate offers and secure candidates.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) for reporting and efficiency.
  • Attend career fairs and networking events, continually enhancing the candidate experience.
  • Provide training and resources on HR policies and employee development programs.
  • Monitor and facilitate effective communication and feedback regarding performance management.
  • Coach managers on addressing specific performance issues.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment through diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Conduct employee touchpoints and administer exit surveys and interviews.
  • Equip managers with tools and guidance on employee relations to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure HR and legal compliance through accurate documentation of employee relations matters.
  • Regularly engage with employees in the office to build relationships.
  • Assist our Training Team by hosting in-Person trainings for local employees
  • Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events.
  • Promote company culture by capturing highlights from key engagement activities to share on social media.
  • Evaluate employee engagement strategies through surveys.
