About The Position

Under direct supervision, supports a wide variety of human resources functions within the Bank's HR department. The Human Resources Assistant assists HR Generalists and HR leadership in delivering core HR programs and services, including talent acquisition support, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS data entry, and compliance tracking. This is an entry-level role designed for recent college graduates looking to build a well-rounded foundation in HR within a regulated financial services environment. The Assistant will gain hands-on exposure across all HR disciplines while providing reliable administrative and operational support to the HR team. Essential functions will span tasks within Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, Employee Relations & Culture, Benefits Administration, Compliance & Regulatory Support, HRIS & Reporting, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, required.
  • 0–1 year of HR-related experience (internship, co-op, or part-time experience in an HR or business environment accepted).
  • Basic familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices gained through coursework (e.g., FLSA, EEO, FMLA, ADA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn HRIS platforms and ATS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
