About The Position

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking a temporary, part-time HR Assistant to support the HR team from June to August. This role involves scanning and organizing both electronic and paper employee files, updating electronic folders, and ensuring the accurate maintenance of employee records. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Computer skills, including internet, database navigation, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work steadily and independently
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of records

Responsibilities

  • Review and organize paper employee documents
  • Review and update electronic employee folders
  • Scan documents
  • Rename and save documents in employee folders
  • Update documentation so that physical documents can be destroyed
  • Other related administrative tasks
