About The Position

This is a temporary position (approximately 8 weeks) and a great opportunity for a student or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources. Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HR Clerk and or assistant in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Previous experience with Word, Lotus Notes, Excel or related software required.
  • Working experience dealing with company policies, HR legal and regulatory terms and practices such as FMLA, AAP, etc. required.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, including evenings and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all front desk traffic to include processing external candidate applications, employee inquiries and visitor badges.
  • Assemble and mail out new hire packages, process new hire paperwork, and create new hire personnel files.
  • Filing of all HR documents on each employee, maintain training records per ISO procedures.
  • Maintain and order office supply inventory.
  • Maintain all records related to Employee uniforms, to include ordering uniforms for new employees.
  • Update and maintain department spreadsheet/reports.
  • Assist with various duties and projects.
