Nucor Steel Gallatin LLC is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HR Administrator to assist all Human Resources functions for the Division. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in use of computers and in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • At least one year of human resources experience
  • No relatives currently employed at Nucor Gallatin

Nice To Haves

  • Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • SAP/SuccessFactors or HRIS software experience
  • Experience with timekeeping/payroll

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with onboarding of new teammates.
  • Maintaining teammate data in SAP/SuccessFactors/Employee Central/Employee Central Payroll, OnBase, NOVAtime, etc.
  • Maintaining conformance to personnel policies, practices and legal requirements.
  • Supporting other HR functions as needed (benefits, time and attendance, payroll, recruiting, training) with records management, projects, etc.
  • Entering work requests and requisitions into IVARA system.
  • Processing invoices and payment requests.
  • Assisting with planning and coordinating company activities and events, reward/recognition efforts, charitable programs, and other teammate/public activities.
  • Assisting in maintaining records and personnel files; corporate and government reporting and data management and reporting; and HRIS support.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
