About The Position

Seeking a scientist to support our client’s lab testing needs with 1+ year of HPLC experience. This role involves organizing and conducting analyses independently and in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines. The chemist will document work, maintain study documents and laboratory records, and use and perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and software. Responsibilities include sample preparation, standard curve preparation, and contributing to project meetings. The role requires performing assigned workload daily, completing multiple assignments, and contributing to a cohesive team environment with a positive attitude. Planning individual workload in coordination with team members is essential. Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, understanding data generated and method history, and recognizing deviations from normal results are key. The chemist will inform project lead and/or management of any problems or deviations affecting data integrity and participate in corrective actions. Adapting to new procedures and needs, understanding departmental procedures and policies, and acting as a resource within their team are expected. All activities must be conducted in a safe and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field
  • 1+ year of GxP experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Standard curve and sample preparation
  • Wet chemistry bench skills
  • Lab documentation experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and excellent time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of HPLC experience
  • Experience with test method development
