  • Strong expertise with HPC software development tools, libraries, and frameworks, including OpenMP, TBB (oneTBB), and CMake.
  • Experience with HPC use cases such as physics simulations, fluid dynamics, and molecular dynamics.
  • Expert-level proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Linux.
  • Strong understanding of parallel computing concepts, concurrency, multithreading, and performance optimization.
  • Strong applied experience with CPU/GPU computing architectures and optimization techniques, including CUDA, AVX, SIMD, and SIMT.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience developing, profiling, debugging, and optimizing computationally intensive applications.
  • Hands-on experience enabling software on GPUs.
  • Comfort working across abstraction layers, from architecture concepts to implementation and debugging.
  • Ability to work independently on complex engineering problems and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex mathematical and computational requirements into efficient software solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
  • Senior-level experience: 7+ years; Principal-level experience: 10+ years.
  • Experience with Julia, assembly language, LLVM, compiler infrastructure, or compiler optimization.
  • Experience developing software for supercomputers, large-scale compute clusters, or hyperscale infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional local and global teams.
  • Background in scientific computing, numerical methods, computational physics, fluid dynamics, molecular dynamics, or large-scale simulations.
  • U.S. citizenship preferred.
