About The Position

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate to represent HP products at Best Buy stores. The role involves driving sales and creating excitement around the HP brand by demonstrating products, tailoring demonstrations to customer needs, and building rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees. The position is part-time, with up to 15 hours per week based on availability and store needs. The schedule offers flexible weekday shifts, with some weekends required. Pay is $17.50 per hour, with an opportunity to earn a weekly performance bonus of up to $100 based on individual sales performance.

The representative will sell products and services, assist customers with product selections, train store associates on HP products and services, maintain displays and work areas, document and report sales and activity, and meet sales goals. Performance is measured by attendance, sales results, and customer/client satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience.
• One year of job experience is also listed as required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects products to customer needs.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy stores and tailor demonstrations to customers' needs.
• Engage with customers, build rapport, welcome them, offer assistance, and create a memorable experience.
• Assess customer needs, recommend products and services, provide product information, and help customers make selections.
• Sell products and services and meet or exceed personal monthly and weekly sales goals or quotas.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain professional relationships and interactions with store management, staff, customers, and fellow employees.
• Maintain product displays and the work station or kiosk so they are clean, functional, organized, presentable, and ready for demonstrations.
• Accurately document and report sales, competitive insights, and all activity to Retail Operations.
• Submit paperwork completely and accurately.
• Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results as needed.
