About The Position
Assisting Hand Home Care Northern Summit is hiring an experienced, Hoyer-trained caregiver for an afternoon shift. This role involves assisting clients with Hoyer lift transfers, providing personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently.
Requirements
- Hoyer lift training and experience required
- 1+ year of professional caregiving experience preferred
- STNAs and CNAs are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Compassionate, dependable, and attentive
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Safely assist with Hoyer lift transfers and mobility
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide companionship and support
- Prepare meals
- Help maintain a safe, clean home environment
- Support the client in maintaining independence at home
