We are looking for caregivers who can work independently, follow care plans, notice changes in client conditions, and take initiative. We value honesty, accountability, and communication, and are not looking for individuals who frequently cancel shifts or have difficulty communicating.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Three strong professional references
• Experience with a manual or mechanical Hoyer lift
• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults in a home care or facility setting
• Take scheduled shifts seriously
• Arrive on time and be prepared to work
• Communicate promptly when an issue arises
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home
• Follow care plans and office instructions
• Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or needs and communicate them appropriately
• Take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done
• Treat clients, families, and coworkers with professionalism and respect

Responsibilities

• Companionship and meaningful engagement
