Current contracted drop-in hours at both locations are Sunday through Thursday, 12:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Additional hours may be required to support 24/7 shelter operations, preparation activities, participant needs, staff coverage, trainings, and meetings. Work occurs in business offices, communal shelter environments, and field-based outreach locations. Driving is an essential function and includes transporting clients in company vehicles, potentially 8–10 passenger vans, and regular travel between Oakland, Hayward, and community locations throughout Alameda County.
