About The Position

Behind every successful housing placement is a strong operational foundation. As a Housing Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals access and maintain housing by managing Housing Support documentation, HMIS data, reporting, and billing processes. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure participants receive the services and resources they need while supporting program compliance and financial sustainability. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining administrative expertise, data management, and problem-solving with meaningful, mission-driven work. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years of experience working with public benefits, Housing Support programs, MNsure, or similar systems
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Experience using electronic health record systems, preferably Credible
  • Experience managing data systems, reporting, and Excel spreadsheets
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and communities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HMIS and Housing Support systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review, submit, and coordinate Housing Support applications, renewals, and related benefits paperwork
  • Manage HMIS data entry, reporting, and data quality activities
  • Support billing processes for Housing Support and Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management services
  • Maintain accurate participant records and documentation within electronic health record systems
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly program reporting requirements
  • Train and support case managers on Housing Support compliance, paperwork, and documentation requirements
  • Monitor eligibility, recertification deadlines, and service authorizations to ensure compliance and reimbursement
  • Collaborate with program leadership to support program operations, reporting, and financial processes
  • Serve as a resource on Housing Support, HMIS, and related systems for staff across the division
  • Build collaborative relationships with staff, participants, community partners, and funding entities
