The Housing Operations & Communications Manager is a dynamic leadership opportunity to shape an inclusive, student-centered residential experience that advances UW–Green Bay’s mission to provide high-quality, accessible education and foster meaningful community connections. Reporting to the Executive Director of Housing & Residential Education, this role leads both operational excellence and strategic outreach—supporting over 2,200 students during the academic year and 2,000 summer guests—while serving as a visible, collaborative partner across campus. The position champions initiatives that strengthen student success, build community, and expand access, aligning with institutional priorities and embodying UW–Green Bay’s commitment to advance fearlessly, empower success, and build community. Through engagement with prospective students and families, campus partners, and divisional initiatives, this role plays a key part in telling the housing story and elevating the student experience. This position oversees critical housing operations, including contracts, occupancy management, billing, and a 24/7 service desk, while providing leadership and supervision to full-time and student staff. The manager ensures effective response to operational challenges and nonroutine situations, maintains best practices in housing assignments, safety and security, ADA compliance, and strategic communications, and supports facility-related efforts that impact student living environments. Grounded in UW–Green Bay’s core values—provision access, express gratitude, and a shared belief that together, we rise—this role creates a supportive and responsive residential community where students can thrive, belong, and succeed.
