This position provides advanced housing navigation services to Veterans and Veteran families, with a focus on rapid placement into permanent housing and long-term housing stability. The role involves managing a high-acuity caseload of Veterans experiencing complex and multiple barriers to housing, conducting regular in-person meetings, and developing individualized housing navigation plans. The Housing Navigator will assist Veterans in locating and securing housing, identify and address barriers to placement, and advocate on behalf of Veterans with landlords. The position also includes leading landlord engagement efforts, conducting outreach in high-risk areas, and coordinating with various housing authorities and programs. Field-based services, including home visits and outreach in unstable environments, are a key component of this role. The position is subject to grant funding and requires strict confidentiality of client information.
