About The Position
This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of functions to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of the shelter residents as well as the building.
Requirements
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
- Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds.
- One year vocational/technical school degree, AND Six months experience, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Monitor client's day to day activities including scheduling and inventorying passes, taking of prescribed medication, and resident's general whereabouts.
- Maintain shelter logbook through documentation, as directed by the Shelter Director.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and labeling.
