About The Position

The Housing Manager of Court and Assisted Living supports the Assisted Living Program Director by coordinating services and responding to tenant and family needs, requests, and concerns. This role is also responsible for supporting the Director of Housing with the move in and move out process while ensuring compliance with Assisted Living licensure requirements and applicable Minnesota housing regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience working with the elderly and housing required.
• Experience working with computer software (i.e. Microsoft Suite and EHR electronic health record systems)
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both in written and verbal form in English.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
• Good organization skills.
• Must have good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services to meet routine tenant and family requests and concerns
• Assist with all clerical aspect of tenancy such as: Assist tenants with move-in paperwork, move-out paperwork and unit transfers.
• Works with tenants and the business office to ensure rent payments are timely.
• Assist in talking to the tenant/family if someone is behind on their rent payments.
• Facilitates additional agreements pertaining to tenancy. Including, but not limited to pet agreements, air conditioner agreements, and garage rental.
• Additional support services per tenant request.
• Manages all aspects of the Tek-Tone (Tenant Emergency Alert Pendant/Emergency Pull Cord) system with the support of Good Shepherd’s IT On-Call services
• Inspect apartments for cleanliness and needed maintenance at the time of move-in and move-out.
• Provides clerical assistance and support including, but not limited to, copy projects, paper and computer filing processing
• Assist Assisted Living Program Director & Intake Coordinator with employee and resident education and required compliance in accordance with licensure requirements.
