About The Position
The Housing Maintenance Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of housing facilities within the Atikameksheng Anishnawbek community. This position involves overseeing daily maintenance activities, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring that all housing units are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Requirements
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housing maintenance or a related field
Nice To Haves
- Technical training, such as building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems, is highly preferred
- Diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical techniques, Construction Management, or a related field is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring efficient and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules, prioritize work orders, and coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Address maintenance concerns from residents, providing timely solutions and communicating effectively to enhance satisfaction.
- Prepare monthly program and statistical reports.
- Monitor program expenditures and maintain tracking tool.
- Monitor and maintain the Maintenance Management Plan as it relates to housing.
