About The Position

Working alongside the Food and Beverage Management Team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Houseperson who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality. This role involves supporting the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all equipment and furniture are arranged according to event specifications and client needs. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, able to respond efficiently to requests and contribute to a seamless guest experience.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Safely lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties.
  • Must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, and other equipment according to the room layouts, event diagrams, and banquet event orders.
  • Dismantle and remove event equipment, furniture, and supplies following the completion of events.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, event planners, and clients to ensure event needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to requests, changes, and event-related needs to support a seamless guest experience.
