About The Position
Working alongside the Food and Beverage Management Team at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking a Houseperson who possesses a genuine warmth and sense of hospitality. This role involves working for an award-winning luxury hotel group, learning and growing within a diverse multi-outlet property, and offers an exceptional benefits package.
Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday and safely lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties.
- Must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Set up tables, chairs, staging, dance floor, and other equipment according to the room layouts, event diagrams, and banquet event orders.
- Dismantle and remove event equipment, furniture, and supplies following the completion of events.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, event planners, and clients to ensure event needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to requests, changes, and event-related needs to support a seamless guest experience.
