The Houseperson is responsible for stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies, delivering supplies to room attendants, and emptying room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash. This role involves anticipating guest needs, responding promptly to service requests, and maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. The Houseperson will use correct cleaning chemicals, strip and service guest rooms, clean ice machines, and transport cleaning supplies and linens. They will also replace guestroom items, remove trash and debris, clean windows, move furniture, and complete deep cleaning projects. The position requires adherence to safety standards, operational procedures, and attendance policies, while working cohesively with colleagues and management.
