Requirements

  • High School or GED.
  • 2 - 3 years of housekeeping experience or equivalent.
  • Previous experience housekeeping in hotels or condos.
  • Must be able to communicate in efficiently in English.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time more than 2 hours without sitting.
  • I must be willing to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of public areas, service spaces, and housekeeping closets
  • Stock and deliver linens, amenities, and supplies to support housekeeping operations
  • Remove trash, recycling, and soiled linens to designated areas
  • Assist with room readiness, including stripping beds and removing items (e.g., rollways, cribs)
  • Respond promptly to guest and team requests with professionalism
  • Perform carpet care, including routine cleaning and stain removal
  • Identify and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Support laundry and supply operations as needed
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and luxury service standards
  • Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as directed
  • Reporting missing or damaged articles and submitting all found items to Housekeeping office according to Lost and Found procedures.
  • Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all the hallways are clear of trash and used room service trays have been taken to the Stewarding department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
