About The Position

The Bayview Hotel is seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseperson to join their seasonal team. This part-time seasonal position supports the Housekeeping team by ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are clean, stocked, and organized. The role involves delivering linens and supplies, maintaining common areas, and responding to housekeeping needs to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest experience. Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable with physical tasks, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working at a fast pace while maintaining a positive attitude
Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Prior hotel, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

Support Housekeeping Attendants by delivering clean linens, towels, amenities, and other supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping areas
Collect and transport dirty linens, towels, and trash to designated areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, stairways, public areas, and other assigned spaces
Assist with cleaning and maintaining common areas as needed
Keep housekeeping carts, closets, storage areas, and workspaces clean, stocked, and organized
Assist with the setup and breakdown of housekeeping supplies and equipment
Respond promptly to requests from the Housekeeping team and other departments
Report maintenance, safety, or guest room concerns to the appropriate team
Assist with moving furniture, mattresses, rollaway beds, and other items as needed
Help ensure guest areas are clean, orderly, and ready for arrival
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Provide friendly and respectful service when interacting with guests
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation of the property
