Houseperson - Sea Pines Driving Required
About The Position
The Houseperson/Runner assists and supports Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards while following the company mission statement and values. The role supports housekeeping and resort operations by maintaining supply areas, moving linens and supplies, helping turn units on time, responding to guest needs, and keeping assigned buildings and work areas clean and safe. Candidates should be friendly, enthusiastic, hardworking, and passionate about hospitality and providing exceptional service so guests feel safe and cared for during their vacation. The position may require a valid driver's license at certain locations; the posting title specifies driving is required for Sea Pines.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of excellence.
- Stock storage closets and maintain their cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
- Remove soiled linens and trash from units.
- Prepare linen and supply bags as directed and deliver them to units.
- Walk assigned buildings or floors to ensure they are free of linen, trash, and equipment.
- Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
- Report lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Move furniture as directed.
- Help ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
- Perform duties related to site operations as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Maintain urgency to ensure units are turned on time and be prompt with assignments and appointments.
- Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
- Assist with linen inventories and supplies as directed.
- Help resolve guest complaints promptly and build positive customer relations.
- Assist resort guests and owners and make guest deliveries as directed.
- Become knowledgeable about the resort.
