Requirements

Ability to lift 20–50 lbs depending on property needs (e.g., linen bags, equipment).
Stamina to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for an entire shift.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Comfortable operating cleaning equipment (vacuums, carpet machines, carts).
Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and outdoor entry areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors; vacuum carpets and upholstery.
Clean windows, mirrors, glass doors, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
Maintain back-of-house areas such as storage rooms, laundry spaces, and service corridors.
Deliver guest-requested items such as cribs, rollaways, extra pillows, and towels.
Provide friendly, guest-focused service and respond promptly to requests.
Assist with room attendant tasks during high-volume periods (e.g., stripping beds, moving furniture).
Transport clean linen from laundry to floor closets; collect soiled linen and deliver to laundry.
Restock room attendant carts with towels, linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Maintain par levels in floor pantries and storage areas.
Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards in public areas or guest rooms.
Follow all hotel cleaning SOPs and safety protocols (OSHA standards may apply).
Ensure hallways remain clear of trash, linens, and obstacles.
