About The Position
The Houseperson is responsible for maintaining standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments in assigned public spaces according to franchise and hotel standards. This role involves handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, observing all house and safety rules, and completing additional deep cleaning or seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. The position also requires returning and restocking the cart at the end of the shift and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one year cleaning experience
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Clean hotel public areas as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness.
- Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints.
- Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
