Our beautiful 196-room hotel features six spacious event rooms and a tented outdoor event space, making us a premier destination for weddings, meetings, and special events. We are currently seeking a Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. This position plays an important role in supporting guest satisfaction by ensuring guestrooms receive detailed deep cleaning and preventive maintenance support that exceeds our guests' expectations.
Requirements
- Basic English communication skills required.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and hotel standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and servicing of assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
- Move furniture as necessary to thoroughly clean walls, doors, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Clean bathrooms from top to bottom, including tubs, floors, fixtures, vents, and molding.
- Wash and sanitize furniture both inside and out.
- Rotate mattresses and remove, wash, and rehang curtains as scheduled.
- Clean windows, artwork, mirrors, closet tracks, and other guest room fixtures.
- Shampoo carpets and perform detailed room restoration projects.
- Make beds, dust, vacuum, and restock guest room items as required.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance department on preventive maintenance initiatives.
- Follow all safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with additional housekeeping or hotel-related duties as assigned.
