Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented part-time Houseperson/Room Utility to join our team! This is a position with Unite Here Local 1! union and requires monthly dues. Requirements

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
• Knowledge of cleanliness standards

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Cleans door glass and windows
• Cleans elevator doors, floors, walls, and threshold
• Strips linen from guestroom beds as directed
• Delivers clean linen to the housekeepers
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed
• Picks up trash in the parking lot and surrounding grounds
• Changes trash on the exterior of the building
