About The Position
Responsible for stocking supplies and carts, assisting Room Attendants & Turndown Attendants, delivering guest requests, and completing special projects assigned by the Manager. The goal is to provide and maintain the highest possible service standards to our clientele at all times. This role requires the ability to carry 75 lbs, strong initiative, self-motivation, fluency in job-related English, an appreciation for diversity, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of one year of experience in a housekeeping department is required, along with the flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary. Responsibilities
- Stocking supplies and carts
- Assisting Room Attendants & Turndown Attendants
- Delivering guest requests
- Completing special projects assigned by the Manager
- Assisting room attendants with soiled linen and trash
- Sweeping and mopping walkways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers
- Cleaning and removing spots and spider mites from walls and doors
- Cleaning doors to suites and thresholds
- Obtaining amenities and supplies
- Rotating mattresses and moving furniture as assigned by manager
- Maintaining linen rooms in neat, orderly condition
- Delivering items to suites on request
- Assisting in picking up dirty glasses and delivering clean glasses
- Assisting with special projects as directed by Management
- Assisting in deep cleaning of guest rooms by moving furniture and cleaning specific areas
- Cleaning glass area on the balconies
- Stocking room attendant linen carts
- Inspecting linen rooms for excess supplies, removing excess supplies from linen carts and linen closets
- Collecting and washing all glassware by running items in stewarding dishwasher and returning items back to closets
- Keeping work area neat and clean
- Assisting in other areas assigned by manager such as lobby attendant, house attendant, and/or runner due to changes in weather, occupancy, scheduling
- Assisting in the linen truck delivery
- Assisting in the linen chute when advised by manager
- Moving furniture when requested by manager
- Reporting any safety concerns to manager
