About The Position

To maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards Management and fellow employees. In addition, the Houseman position will come in contact with Premier guests and Owners, and will need to have positive guest interactions. The Houseman Associates play an important role in our home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day. Requirements

  • Housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to organize and effectively present information to respond to questions from guests.
  • Ability to positively and professionally handle guest issues.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in the inventory/hospitality field.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, or scheduled form.
  • OSHA Training
  • Must maintain a clean and safe work environment, report any safety issues to management, and comply with the Company's safety guidelines and OSHA Requirements.
  • Must deliver a superior level of service with a goal of exceeding owners' and guests' expectations.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
  • Communicates and informs “System Laundry Management” of the pick-up of dirty linens and drop-off of clean linens.
  • Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.
  • Performs a damaged linen report each month.
  • Comply with all resort safety guidelines.
  • Maintains clean and organized storage rooms of all housekeeping departments.
  • When housewares are delivered, inventory is verified against the PO Form and neatly stacked in the storage room.
  • Deliver any item request to the appropriate unit.
  • Check all golf cart batteries each month to ensure proper water levels are maintained.
  • Wash rags when necessary.
  • Perform linen inventory counts quarterly.
  • Ensures housewares are kept up to par in all units.
  • Report and give suggested counts of housewares and amenities that need to be ordered.
  • Responsible for providing the necessary keys for all newly hired housemen.
  • Return any items that were sent out to be cleaned to the appropriate unit.
  • Projects as needed.
