This position is responsible for cleaning public and employee restrooms and showers, cleaning glass in public and employee areas, and cleaning floor surfaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The role also involves dusting surfaces, emptying trash, inspecting furniture for damage, cleaning and maintaining lights, and posting caution signs when necessary. The Houseman will contact other departments for urgent repairs, respond promptly to guest and department requests, and identify and report maintenance issues. Additionally, the role requires adherence to all company and safety policies, proper storage of flammable materials, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The Houseman must welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with appreciation. Communication should be clear and professional, and the associate must support team goals and ensure quality standards. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance, push and pull machinery, reach overhead and below the knees, visually inspect equipment, manipulate objects with fine motor skills, move through confined spaces, ascend and descend ladders, and stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.
