About The Position
The Houseman is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, restocking amenities, sorting laundry, and maintaining an organized workspace. This role requires a customer service mindset, physical stamina, and flexibility in scheduling. The Houseman will also assist with deep cleaning, special projects, and team training as needed.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience.
- Customer service mindset – Friendly, helpful attitudes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical stamina – ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, squat, and be on your feet for the whole shift.
- Flexible schedule – availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas, ensuring beds are made, bathrooms are sparkling, and surfaces are free of dust.
- Restock towels, toiletries, and amenities in guest rooms.
- Sort laundry and operate laundry machines safely.
- Handle linen with care.
- Keep the housekeeping cart and closets organized.
- Pitch in with deep cleaning, special projects, and team training when needed.
