About The Position

Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. The Club provides employees with the opportunity to contribute to essential operations that uphold high standards of cleanliness and functionality. As a houseman, you will assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces, ensuring that common areas are well-maintained, and responding promptly to member requests. Your dedication to maintaining a clean and organized environment will be vital in enhancing the overall experience for our members. ANCC housemen are responsible for providing the highest quality housekeeping service to our members and guests, while maintaining the service standards set forth by the housekeeping management team.   • Position also requires standing for a long period of time and frequent bending

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily scheduled cleaning services as assigned by Manager
  • Surface dusting
  • Vacuum, mop and sweep
  • Clean windows
  • Bathroom cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Iron
  • Perform thorough deep clean of event spaces as required
  • Report all maintenance issues to Manager, immediately
  • Report all safety and security issues to Manager, immediately
  • Communicate with Manager to ensure all guest/member requests are fulfilled
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager
