Houseman/Route Team Member (FT/PT)
About The Position
Green Lake Conference Center (GLCC) is seeking an efficient, safety-oriented Houseman/Route Team Member to oversee and coordinate housing-related services and deliveries to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of guest accommodations. This role is essential in maintaining housing inventories, coordinating the pick-up and delivery of linens and other necessary items, and working closely with Lodging & Facilities team members to meet the needs of laundry, custodial, housekeeping, and guest services. The Houseman/Route Team Member will play a vital role in maintaining an organized, welcoming environment for GLCC guests.
Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor including standing, bending, walking, or sitting, for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure the timely pick-up and delivery of supplies.
- Dependable, responsible, and reliable with a cooperative attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in housing services, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and organize the delivery and collection of lodging supplies, including linens, towels, hygiene items, items for disposal, and other necessary items, to various guest accommodations.
- Monitor and manage lodging inventory, ensuring that all supplies are stocked, organized, and replenished as needed to meet the demands of housekeeping and guest services.
- Ensure the proper handling, delivery, and collection of equipment and supplies used for lodging services, maintaining an organized workflow and reporting any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety procedures while handling supplies and coordinating deliveries to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and inventory status to ensure effective tracking and accountability.
- Assist in other Lodging & Facilities Services tasks as necessary, including backup support for laundry, custodial, and housekeeping functions when needed.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and well-organized work areas to enhance workflow efficiency and ensure easy access to supplies.
- Work closely with other staff members to complete tasks efficiently and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the overall operations of the Lodging & Facilities Services department and/or other duties as assigned.
