About The Position
Gold’s Gym is looking for a Housekeeping team member responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the gym. This includes ensuring equipment is sanitized, sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, office space, and other assigned areas of the gym. The role also involves cleaning, polishing, and disinfecting all bathroom areas, maintaining sufficient supplies (e.g., towels, tissue, soap) in bathrooms, emptying trash and garbage containers, and ensuring all floor areas are safe, clean, and orderly. Additionally, the position requires observing equipment for potential safety hazards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
- Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
- Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
- Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
- Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
- Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
