About The Position

As a core member of our maintenance team, you will be expected to perform basic housekeeping, janitorial, and cleaning services for interior and exterior areas within the facility. This includes exterior walkways/driveways, entrance doorways and foyers, floors, windows, locker room, cafeteria, offices, lavatories, laboratory, lobby/reception area, first aid room, tempering room and other interior spaces. You will also be responsible for cleaning building structure, furniture, upholstery, carpeting, floor scrubbing/waxing, and vacuuming. Additionally, you will crush cardboard & boxes and perform other duties/tasks as set forth by the Leader. Perry’s will help you to achieve all of these goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

Must be able to perform General housekeeping/janitorial services for locker rooms, lavatories, offices, cafeteria, conference rooms, public areas, including exterior grounds and entrances.
Basic math and basic computer skills.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
High School Diploma, GED or other high school equivalency.

Able to work independently and to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform basic housekeeping, janitorial, and cleaning services for interior and exterior areas within the facility, including exterior walkways/driveways, entrance doorways and foyers, floors, windows, locker room, cafeteria, offices, lavatories, laboratory, lobby/reception area, first aid room, tempering room and other interior spaces.
Clean building structure, furniture, upholstery, carpeting, floor scrubbing/waxing, and vacuuming.
Crush cardboard & boxes and perform other duties/tasks as set forth by Leader.
Support the production of safe, high quality products(SQF) and team member safety.
Determine availability of materials, tools, and equipment to perform tasks.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify purchasing of materials/parts required to complete work orders.
Close work orders in computerized MMS system to account for activities.
Follow all safety procedures.
Follow all good manufacturing procedures.
Follow all company rules, policies and procedures.
