About The Position

The primary objective of this position is to clean and maintain club property in a safe environment. This role involves general housekeeping and laundry duties, assisting staff wherever necessary, and maintaining a safe and clean club environment. The position requires attention to detail in cleaning, maintenance, and communication with management.

Requirements

Able to stand, kneel, twist, and bend for up to 8 hours.
Able to lift 15 lbs. overhead.
Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Able to follow all chemical label instructions regarding mixing, usage, and disposal.
Possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform general housekeeping and laundry duties including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning baseboards and chair rails, mopping, cleaning windows, removing spider webs, and operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, pressers).
Attend staff meetings.
Assist staff wherever necessary to improve service to the membership.
Receive suggestions, comments, and handle complaints or refer them to the Facilities Manager.
Coordinate and follow up on assigned daily maintenance duties, which may include mechanical tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the Facilities Manager or Manager on Duty.
Maintain a safe environment by immediately cleaning or repairing spills and other dangerous conditions.
Maintain visibility and communication with the Manager on Duty.
Turn in daily work logs to the Facilities Manager.
Operate floor maintenance equipment such as vacuums, carpet scrubbers/cleaners, and floor buffers.
Maintain restrooms and floors, handle, transport, and dispose of trash in appropriate containers, manage recyclables, and ensure general cleanliness of the club.
Demonstrate a TEAM approach to workload and assist others as needed.
