About The Position

HHS is seeking friendly, compassionate team players to join their housekeeping team at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center. The role involves providing a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment to create a safe, clean, and comfortable space for patients to heal. Responsibilities include cleaning assigned areas such as patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms, monitoring cleanliness, following HHS cleaning procedures, providing kind service to individuals, and assisting team members and management for efficient department operation. Full-time positions are available with day, evening, and night shifts. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, communicate effectively in English, practice good personal hygiene, and be in uniform. A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility are required, and many healthcare facilities also require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Pass a background check
Pass a drug screen
Provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place (as required by many healthcare facilities)

Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
