About The Position
Gold's Gym contracts all housekeeping through Gold Medal Cleaning. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensuring it is sanitized. The role involves sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming various areas of the gym, including hallways, stairs, and office spaces. Additionally, the housekeeper will clean and disinfect all bathroom areas, maintain adequate supplies of materials in bathrooms, and empty trash and garbage containers throughout the gym. Maintaining safe, clean, and orderly floor areas and observing equipment for potential safety hazards are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and ensure it is sanitized.
- Sweeps, dusts, mops scrubs and vacuums hallways, stairs, office space and other assigned areas of the overall gym.
- Cleans, mops, scrubs, polishes, and disinfects all bathroom areas as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of materials (e.g. towels, tissue, soap, etc.) in all bathrooms in assigned areas.
- Empties trash and garbage containers in all assigned areas, as well as the gym overall.
- Maintains all floor areas in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.
- Observes equipment for potential safety hazards.
