Housekeeping | Turndown Attendant
About The Position
This role is responsible for providing turndown services for guest rooms and performing additional duties as assigned in accordance with Omni standards. The attendant will respond to guest requests, greet guests warmly, and provide turndown services for a set number of rooms. Additional duties include providing amenities and housekeeping services for VIP guests, performing the functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson, and offering assistance and information to guests. The role also involves removing room service trays, assisting with public areas, restocking caddies, linen, and chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants, and maintaining clean and tidy housekeeping and linen areas.
Requirements
- Able to maintain a 4-diamond level of service.
- Able to work with Management on special projects.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests).
- Ability to push and pull housekeeping supply cart.
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
- Requires repetitive motion of arms and hands.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all guest requests appropriately.
- Greet guests warmly with a smile, and call them by name whenever possible.
- Provide turndown services for an assigned number of guest rooms.
- Provide additional amenities and housekeeping services for VIP guests.
- Perform all the functions of a Room Attendant and Housekeeping Houseperson as needed.
- Provide full servicing of guest rooms upon request.
- Offer assistance and information to guests.
- Remove room service trays from guest rooms and public space.
- Assist with public areas when needed.
- Restock caddies, linen, and refill chemical bottles for Guest Room Attendants.
- Keep all housekeeping and linen areas clean and tidy.
